Why do people think the angelic companions (Virgins) that Muslims will be with in Heaven r like human virgins?

Angelic companions are made of the light of God and are beautiful beyond imagination and are in no way defiled or imperfect (closest word for translation is = Virgin).

the word virgin means an untouched woman or a woman who has yet to engage in sexual intercourse and just what would one do with an asexual creature made of light? how would one touch it or do things with it? how would one see it? your definiton makes no sense what so ever

Could it be that islamic extremists/terrorists always seem to be saying “X virgins” and “X handmaidens” and “X beautiful boys” will be waiting for them “in Paradise” along with all the great “food” and other PHYSICAL pleasures (and nary a mention of ANYTHING spiritual)?

    Just my opinion, of course.

There is no earthly sex in Heaven and both sexes will be young and virgins.
