    My ex, ironically, he called me “his angel” when we were together. He was unfaithful, controlling and hurt me so many times. My friends tried to tell me I could do better yet I couldn’t leave him. (“Blinded by faith, I couldn’t hear all the whispers, the warnings so clear” plus basically the whole chorus.) I broke up with him after being taken for granted so long. (Could have been forever now we have reached the end).

    I have always loved this song so much, now I have found relation to it.
