How exactly do I play an "angelic, flowy, hippie" character?
I recently just got my first lead in A Christmas Carol as the Ghost of Christmas Past. The problem is, she's very graceful and angelic. I usually play the villain. Give me tips? Movements? Voices?

Do just what you said be flowy, graceful etc. maybe find someone else who has played that part before and ask them to re-act it. take note of their gestures, tone, etc. then in private where you arent concerned about people hearing/seeing you. just let go and try it. do it till you're comfortable. then you're ready. maybe show someone and see what they think. Hope that helps!

What I do is take deep breaths, close your eyes and focus on your character. Who she is, how she acts, how she thinks. Channel that until you genuinely feel like her. And don’t focus on her lines. If you mess up, you break the illusion and stutter until it comes to you. If you don’t focus on the lines as much as the scene, and how your character is acting in the scene, if you do mess up, you’ll be able to get through it a lot easier.
Sorry if this didn’t answer your question properly. Just remember to feel like her. :)

Play it as softly as you can, voice, movement, everything! Remember the dignity of the character and the absolute sincerety of an angel.

Watch Goldie Hawn in Butterflies Are Free
Jane Fonda in Barefoot In The Park is another actress/role to emulate. good luck.
