What to serve with angel food cake and fruit?
Our small group at church everyone takes turns bringing food for the small meal we have before we begin our bible study. It will soon be our turn and I make a really good angel food cake from scratch and then decorate it with cream cheese frosting and fruit (strawberries, black berries, blue berries, mangos etc).
I wanted some suggestions on what I could make for the meal that would work well with the chosen dessert? Thanks for answers.

Angel food cake is AMAZING & i don't think there is a meal that wouldn't go good with it! But for some reason chicken comes to mind?! Good luck with your meal!

What about a Cesar Salad with chicken strips on top of it? Bring along some salad dressings and croutons. Serve with a loaf of crusty bread and some butter.
Sandwiches…different kinds of meats and veggies and breads. The sandwiches can be mini sized so there’s room for dessert.
